SentryOne Releases Version 18.1 with Enhanced Support of SSAS Tabular
BI Sentry Offers Unparalleled Insight into SSAS
CHARLOTTE, NC – February 21, 2018 – SentryOne today announced the release of Version 18.1 to the SentryOne Platform. Central to this new version is the addition of enhanced support of SSAS Tabular in BI Sentry, the complete performance monitoring, diagnosis, and optimization solution for SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
“For years, BI Sentry has provided unparalleled insight into Multidimensional SSAS,” said Steve Wright, Senior Product Manager for SentryOne. "With the growing popularity of SSAS Tabular among BI professionals we wanted to offer more to those environments.”
The software provides real-time and historical performance dashboards, detailed XMLA, MDX, DMX, and DAX query analysis, baselining and alerting functionality, and attribute, aggregation, and partition usage totals. BI Sentry is used by companies world-wide to provide deeper insight to business-critical data platform performance.
“This update also introduces general performance enhancements to the SentryOne client, and additional performance enhancements to our APS and Azure SQL DW products,” said Jason Hall, SentryOne Vice President of Product. “As always, performance and quality are primary concerns for SentryOne. Our engineers were able to innovate in both areas for this release, delivering performance gains that can be felt as well as measured.”
