The Ohio Big Three

2017 seems to be my year for lots of travel. For example, my summertime SQL Vacation speaking tour featured stops in 11 cities. I've had a couple other multi-city trips, including to Houston, Dallas, LA, Boston, and Charlotte. Now, it's time for a visit to the user groups of the big three cities of Ohio where I'll be presenting some of my perennially favorite sessions. (Btw, next month will include visits to Indianapolis, Charlotte, and Seattle.) If you live in Ohio or the general area, I hope to see you at one of the upcoming user group presentations and/or Meetups.

Attend for a chance to win!

And just for a bit of added incentive, we'll be raffling off an Amazon Echo Dot at our Meetups!

Cleveland on Tuesday, September 5th

Normally, I like to get into town the day before a presentation. However, Monday September 4th is Labor Day, so I'll be arriving in Cleveland around lunchtime where I'll meet my S1 colleagues, Scott Lucas and Allen White (b | t), a fan and citizen of Cleveland. Due to our late arrival in Cleveland, I'll only have time to present at the Cleveland SQL Server user group. The topic is the ever-popular "Ten Query Tuning Techniques Every SQL Programmer Should Know."

Columbus on Wednesday, September 6th

The trip to Columbus includes both a presentation at the Columbus SQL Server user group as well as an informal Meetup beforehand. At the user group meeting, I'll present "Ten Query Tuning Techniques Every SQL Programmer Should Know". The Meetup is an informal meet-n-greet and your chance for some free consulting plus appetizers. If you have an involved or obscure question, please give me a heads-up email so I can prepare.

Register HERE (Yes, it's a separate registration) for the S1 Meetup that precedes the user group meeting. We need the registration count so that we can order an appropriate amount of food and beverages.
